Chef Sebastien Schwab
Silvia's husband, Chef Sebastien Schwab, was born in Reims, France and began his culinary career there 28 years ago.
Upon graduating from a culinary school in Brittany, he went on to work in many different kitchens (including Groupe Lucien Barrière) in many regions of France (Brittany, the French Alps, and the French Riviera).
He relocated to St. Pierre and Miquelon in 2001 (a French overseas territory situated in North America) where he created the highly successful “Restaurant La Voilerie” with Silvia.
In 2009, they moved to Prince Edward County and Sébastien became Head Chef at Angeline’s Inn and Restaurant in Bloomfield. Today, Sebastien is Chef at Sébastien Schwab Cuisine. His passion for cooking, attention to detail and respect for the raw product -- creating fresh, simple unfussy French fare with a unique, playful twist of his own -- has won legions of fans and followers the world over.
